Vtuls offers its AI-driven remote monitoring tech for FREE to Care Homes

The impact that Covid-19 is having on Care Homes is very troubling for us here at Vtuls. As a company that’s driven by using our expertise in healthcare, AI and enterprise software to protect and improve the lives of vulnerable patients we’re keen to explore how we can help.

That’s why we’ve decided to offer our remote monitoring healthcare technology to care homes in the UK at no cost for the next three months.

Our leading technology, which monitors patients’ vital signs and uses AI and Machine Learning to alert clinicians when conditions worsen, has been proven to improve patient outcomes by 20%.

The platform, which has FDA, CE and ISO approval, has already been deployed in seven countries and is being used to monitor for Covid-19 as well as other serious health conditions such as COPD, heart failure and diabetes.

More than 40 vital signs can be monitored by Vtuls – including temperature, breathing rate and pain – and the technology allows patients to be monitored away from the hospital, reducing their potential exposure to the virus and increasing capacity for the health service. We think that this could be particularly beneficial to elderly patients.

With data from the Office of National Statistics showing that Covid-19 has been responsible for more than one in four care home deaths over the last two months, the technology could enable a vital early alert that helps reduce the number of cases leading to wider outbreaks.

Over the coming days we’re going to start reaching out to care home operators to offer them free use of our technology for at least the next three months. However, we’d also like to invite any care home operators out there to get in touch with us to schedule a virtual demonstration and see how we can support them at this challenging time – at no financial cost.
